Maureen Howes has been a dental hygienist for 40 years. The first half of her career was devoted to clinical practice and academia. In 2006, Maureen took a leap of faith and joined the DSO movement at Aspen Dental where she spent 17 years as
Vice President of Hygiene. In this role she supported 1400 hygienists in over 1000 practices and mentored a team of 40 hygiene directors and managers. While at Aspen, Maureen facilitated the implementation of AI- assisted Voice Activated Periodontal Charting. This exposure to the world of AI led to her current role as Principal Hygiene Consultant for Denti AI. Maureen is also an examiner for CDCA/WREB/CITA.
