Human Trafficking is a global public health problem. Dental clinicians are uniquely positioned to identify victims and provide assistance. This webinar will create awareness as health clinicians and discuss red flags to identify victims in our dental practice. Art McOmber, former FBI special agent will share his professional experience with attendees.

  • Understand Red Flags in health care settings.

  • Know how victims' trauma can impact their health care.

  • Be able to act if you believe your patient is a victim of trafficking.

Dr. Kirsten Roling, DDS

Dr. Kirsten Roling, DDS is the Chief Education Officer for Dental CE Academy administered by Virtual Dontics® Education LLC.  She completed dental school training at the University of California, San Francisco; during the height of the HIV/AIDS Pandemic.

Dr. Roling is a public health dentist, credited as an early pioneer of Teledentistry. Her clinical practice spans pediatrics to geriatrics. Previously an Assistant Clinical Professor, UCSF; and Public Health Preceptor, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, Dr. Roling also held the position as Chief for the Office of Oral Health, Maricopa County, Department of Public Health where she administed the nation's largest pediatric oral health prevention programs for the third largest U.S. public health department. As a mobile dental provider, she commanded a large teledentistry practice to treat homebound geriatric patients. She is a recipient of the Pediatric Oral Health Access Program (POHAP) scholarship and provided dental services pro bono to at risk infants and foster children. She has completed certification through the American Dental Education Association in conjunction with the Academy of Academy Leadership and Institute for Allied Health Educators "Advances in Educational Methodology." Her career has been featured in the Arizona Dental Association's Journal Inscriptions, and In 2017 she was published in the Journal of Public Health Dentistry, followed by a feature interview in 2018 by National Public Radio highlighting the challenges of geriatric dentistry.

It was during this time that he recognized the critical need for effective asset protection and over-taxation protection. For the past eight years, Art has dedicated himself to sharing his expertise in these areas, as well as wealth creation, with business professionals and medical professionals nationwide. With 33 years of marriage to Barbara and a loving family consisting of four wonderful children, a grand-daughter, and a grandson, Art's personal life is just as fulfilling as his professional accomplishments. His wealth of experience and commitment to protecting and empowering individuals in the realm of asset protection make Art a highly sought-after expert in the field.
